I had the incredible fortune of being at Old Poway Park on Veteran’s Day. Unbeknownst to me, there was a big ceremony planned to honor our servicemen and women. The street in front of the park was blocked off, and I must admit to being a little annoyed to have to park far away. But, once people started jumping out of an airplane, I understood why!
I busted out the longest lens I had with me (200mm) and snapped away!
It was really fun to watch! It just amazes me that they can land in such a small area. My hubby used to sky-dive in the Air Force Academy, so I kept on thinking, “Dude! Jeff used to do this! …He’s nuts!”
