It was such a pleasure photographing JJ and Savannah for their long overdue engagement session! This amazing couple is getting married in June and we were lucky to find a time to get in a session for them before we got too close to the wedding date. We did their session on Easter Sunday! It ended up being the perfect date because we were blessed with beautiful weather and this usually very crowded location was almost empty!
They were so much fun to work with. They both have lots of energy and are just super fun people. JJ owns the gym where my kids take gymnastics lessons (Champion Gymnastics and Cheer) and Savannah is one of their coaches! Their positive attitudes and patience have been such as blessing to my girls and our whole family, so it was an absolute joy to be able to do this session for them. …except for the part when we were chatting about kids movies and Savannah couldn’t remember what a VHS tape was called and made me feel SUPER OLD. I’m over it though. Mostly.
